Restaurant Week, Tequila Pairing
From January 16-28, Café Coyote will be participating in Restaurant Week. We have put together an incredible three-course menu selection paired with three distinct and recognized 100 percent agave tequilas. This is a perfect opportunity to explore, which tequilas go best with which food and learn from our on- sight tequila experts.
The tequilas that will be featured for this special menu are: Corralejo blanco from the state of Guanajuato, Herradura Antigua from Amatitán, Jalisco and Don Juio añejo from Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco. Compare and discover three tequilas from different distilleries, regions, production styles, and age to learn what makes them different.
If you happen to come on a Thursday night ask to meet Mario Marquez, Master Tequilier and Mixologist. Every Thursday from 6-9 p.m. Mario prepares a special tequila cocktail made with the best tequilas and creative ingredients. He will teach you how to make the cocktail so that you can impress your friends with your new bartending skills.
Mario Marquez is here to answer any questions about tequila, help you choose from our extensive selection of more than 100 tequilas, take you step by step on how tequila is produced and the best alternatives on how to appreciate this fine spirit. Each tequila is different and has an interesting story to tell. One visit to Café Coyote is not enough to understand the secrets, myths, and history behind this nectar from the Gods.
